WHITLINGHAM: late August update
28th August 2011
1 Black Swan. Yep its chock full of birds. There weren't even any birds feeding on the blackberries, as dozens of city folk have decided to come with carrier bags and take them to make a years supply of jam.
With the summer holidays nearly over and autumn weather I may soon return to Whitlingham for the first time since I finally saw the spotted flycatcher and had cuckoo too on 4th June.
Norfolk folks sure do like there jam! Sure your dedication to the local patch will pay off with a nice rarity soon mate.
